Cervical Stenosis or MS.... Help!

Hi Quix and everyone else!  Ok heres my problem.  I was on here a few months ago cuz we thought I had MS 99% sure anyway. Well, MRI and LP were neg so now Dr said "Just move on with life" Remember that phrase!?  I requested my records as suggested by Quix and found out that my MRI shows Moderate cervical Stenosis w/ disk bulge touching the anterior cord.  Dr didn't mention a thing to me of course. I wont be going back there needless to say.  I've made myself my annual physical appointment and am going to request to see a neurosurgeon when I'm there so he can look at the MRI and tell me if my symptoms are related to Cervical stenosis or MS.  Do you guys have any suggestions that can help narrow this down for both Dr and myself?  These are my symptoms:

Primarily right sided weakness in arm/leg but some on left too.  Parasthesia, fasculations, spacicity in legs, clumbsiness in arm, bladder urgency, gait change, ON in 9/07, hyperreflexes in legs, and LLerhmettes.

I've had 3 episodes: ON in 9/07, then bilateral leg weakness in 10/07 (only lasted about 2 weeks), then severe leg and arm weakness w/ bladder symptoms around Thanksgiving (took a good 2 months to resolve.)

If neuro says its Cervical stenosis then I guess it's surgery. If he says its not then I'm requesting to see the MS specialist in Spokane.  Any advice you guys??

Cz :  I have had a cervial surgery  and  a lower back surgery.
I still have buldging disk in those areas, but they are not herniated or pressing
on the cord.
It sounds like you have things well in hand, Yes see a nero surgeon for an opinion
on your disk problems.  It sounds like some of you sympoms could be related
to the stenosis and more than likley some are.
That is where i would start.    As to the ms related symtoms (symptoms) I will let others more experiences, make their comments. I am to new to the MS world to advise on that part.
I hope you get to the bottom of this soon   all My Best Gollie

I do not know about Cervical Stenosis but I have just had CT scans done because the Internal Medicine specialist suspected MS and still has not ruled it out. The CT scans showed bulging discs in neck and lower spine. They can press on nerves if they protrude into the spine and cause some of those symptoms. Good advice on getting Neurosurgeon to look at MRI that is the way to go I am thinking and He should be able to fill you in better on which of your symptoms are associated with the condition and if you need other specialists to look at the other symptoms.

I wish you all the very best with this.

Hugs

GLAD TO SEE YA BACK,

SEEING A NEUROSURGEON WILL HELP SORT OUT THE SYMPTOMS,DON'T LET ANY NEURO OR NEUROSURGEON TELL YOU THAT YOUR ON IS ASSOCIATED WITH THE DISK.

TAKE BABY STEPS,SEE THE SURGEON FIRST,THEN SEEK ADDITION MEDICAL HELP TO FIGURE OUT THE CASES OF ON.

Thanks for the encouragment.  I know the O.N. is deffinetly not related to the disk.  Ok, I guess it's baby steppin to the future!  I'll let you know how it goes when I finally get seen. Thanks again.
