Cesamet

Hi All, has anyone here tried Cesamet (nabilone) to treat their neuropathic pain?  It's a synthetic cannabinoid similar to Sativex but taken orally instead of a buccal spray.  I can't tolerate the taste of Sativex or the mess it was making of my mouth so after several weeks' trial run I've discontinued in favour of trying the Cesamet.  I started at 1mg which really relieved some of the worst burning and vise-grip sensations in my hand, but it left me completely stoned, off balance, non functional, and hungry!  so I'm now trying the .5mt to start.  I am getting some decent relief at this dose and can titrate to 2mg if needed and tolerated.

I'm wondering if anyone here has tried this drug and if so, how did you do with it in terms of pain relief.    Also, did you have side effects qand did they improve or worsen over time?

I wish! Heck I live in a "dry " county who will not sell beer and wine on Sundays. When we moved here even that was forbidden. Cesamet would certianly NOT be allowed to be dispensed in my county of residence. Sure wish I lived I lived in Canada at times.
