Cooling Vest

I'm currently suffering from 'inappropriate sinus tachycardia' and/or POTS so have just purchased a cooling vest as heat seems to really aggravate this.  

They are made for horse riders but the company says they have sold quite a few to MSers.

The company is www.naturalequipment.com.au and the cost was only AUD $80 incl tax.  Freight was $10.55 to NZ and it was tax free.

Maybe a Saddlery or this company could be a worthwhile option for others looking for a reasonably priced cooling vest?

No such thing as free cooling vests here in NZ, in fact you'd be lucky if many people knew what they are.  I went into our local MS Society once and they hadn't even heard of them.

I didn't qualify because I am not in the US but when I called MSAA they gave me the name of their supplier. Polar something or other.

Not a horrible price and very good customer service.

I got mine through MSAA. It did not cost me anything. You do have to meet income requirements.

Oftentimes, in North America at least, MS societies have annual cooling vest give-aways or subsidies. Generally, someone with MS can avoid being out of pocket by that much as they really can be helpful with Uhthoff's phenomenon.
