Copaxone

Hi all,
Tomorrow we start with the copaxone injections.  Kinda nervous, but, so liked and found it helpful, with Paula's comments and everyone that answered her.  I am going to try just the manual injection.............. I find it complicated to figure out the self injections, but, that is my own mind playing games with me.  I'm sure it is not complicated, but the regular injections seem just easier.   Will let you know how it goes, it will be at 10 am tomorrow, with the Shared Solutions health nurse... wish me luck !!!

Hi Candy,
Good luck with the Copaxone! I'm due to start the same soon so I'm always interested to read about other users. I've been particularly interested in the comments about manual injectiions. I live in England and haven't been given any choice over the type of jab. It's pure autoject for me! Do you know which site you're injecting first? My husband is learning too so he can do the ones I can't reach. Please will you let us know how it goes?
Take care, Zoe x

It isn't as bad as you think it is. Putting that needle in for the first time may be hard but after that it gets easier.

I find the manual injections easier all the way around. It reduces my site reactions and it is less steps when I give my shots.

You will do just fine and remember that we are here if you have questions and SS is great if you need extra support.

My best advice is to make yourself familiar with both methods.  I personally prefer to manually inject, but there are days that I can't reach or am very shaky so the autoject is better.  My son and husband are also familiar with both so they can help me too.  I was afraid to inject manually the first time, but after that, I was good to go!  Each time definitely gets easier!!

Good luck tomorrow!
