Could this be a symptom

I have written before. I have been diagnosed with ms based on Mri's and spinal tap. I had few if any definite symptoms.
Last week I started feeling achy in my neck and back (not pain). I developed an odd sensation in my left thigh. It felt like someone was pulling at opposite ends of the muscle and had a burning sensation. It lasted one week. I had this once before for only 3days. It hurts more to sit or lie down. Walking seems to relieve the intensity. I hope someone can enlighten me?

It sounds like spasticity to me, actually.  I have frequent problems with tight muscles that feel weak.  Sometimes it's really bad and they spasm - cramping continuously.

I also get several kinds of paresthesia, and it's possible that that's what you're experiencing.  For example, my left toe feels like something is pressing on the tip, pushing it back, but there is nothing there.

I was gonna say the exact same thing that Jen said. It sounds like spasticity to me as well.

Hey Jen, you have trouble with your muscles shrinking back? I've started to notice that my right leg is now longer than my left leg, also that I can, no longer relax my muscles down anymore, meaning that if I'm laying on a flat surface, with my legs over the edge, my legs do not bend strait down, but stick out at an angle.

Thank you for responding. I have neuro appt in 2 weeks so I will ask since this is the 2nd time this has happened.
