Can some of you explain some of the (what do they call them, achronyms?) capital letter shortcuts like DMD?  I do not know what a DMD is.

LULU did give me a site to go to, but I get tired and I do not always make it through all the reading from this forum.  I go back to my bed.  Once some sort of treatment is started, I hope to regain some energy.  I know I am also suffering from some depression, but do not know where that ends and where anything else begins.  I am overwhelmed by what my PCP didn't do, and by what he may have dismissed intentionally in order to nail me with easy DXs.  His credentials are great, but I guess his moral responsibilty is lacking.  That link is absolutely terrific.  Thanks

Hi crwriter,

I 'm sorry  no one gave the official mini-tour of the site. The most frequently used and best resource on this forum are the Health Pages, located next to the yellow icon at the upper right-hand corner of the page. Here you will find a wealth of information on many subjects. One of which is the acronyms used here on the forum. Here is the direct link:

Hope this helps,

DMD stands for disease-modifying-drug.  CRAB is copaxone, rebif, avonex and betaseron.  VEP is visual evoked potential...  hmmm, can't remember any more!
