Do you have your mri films?

I'm such an IDIOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!  because I KNOW BETTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!   I moved from the state where they started the first dx my MS 2007.. and now I'm going to the MS Center at UCSF (university of california , San Franscisco) of course the MS neuro wants the FILMS ...... that hospital I went to in 2000.. destroys the films after 5 yrs!!! They have no films from 2000-2002.. those were the only films that showed lesions... the MRI's from 2003 shows all normal mri's.............I just want people to learn from  my mistake!!  Now, they have films on CD's plus the reports on them.. so its much easier to get them!!!

The new neuro Ive been seeing thinks since no lesions are seen, now I dont have MS... thats why Im soo mad at myself for not having the films of the ones that showed something.. just the reports... Least I was smart enough to get the reports !!  :)

I think that's a lesson learned the hard way and we should all take head.  Even if the films where destroyed should'nt you still be able to get a copy of the radiologists report, or your doctors report for then.  At least that will tell them what was on the films.
