Does this sound like LeHermitte's?

On Saturday I had a new flare and a new symptom showed up with it. This one is an electrical shock (not painful, more like tingling) that happens when I tip my head forward and move my arm toward the front. It sends an electrical sensation down into my thumb on the one side. It happened repeatedly every time I moved that way for about four days, and now it seems to be gone.

Sounds like it to me.  That was one of the 3 "tests I failed" as he said, the first time I went to the neuro. I would look down and electric shock would go down my spine and I'd actually be forced to push my left leg out.  It was like out of my control.

Good luck!  And I hope you feel better soon!

LeHermitte's is moving the neck.  If you also have to move the arm, that could be more of a radiculitis, pain due to inflammation or other irritation of the nerve root (radiculopathy) at its connection to the spinal column.  This is where they need an EMG/NCS to see the Sensory Nerve Action Potentials and to see if there latency at the nerve root.
