Dyshagia, have you experienced this?

Hi all,
I had a little trouble sleeping last night, because it seemed like when I were breathing trough my nose (with closed mouth) the air did make the end of the mouth (missing the right english word for this sorry) dry and irritated. So I was couching so much. It feels to me like the control of these muscles is not coordinated enaugh, and before I have also been experiencing difficulty swallowing, and things going the wrong way. But this new difficulty seemed strange so I want to ask you if you know anything about it?

Thank you Alex, I sure wish that you were not feeling so bad, but it feels nice to have you around. I think you must be a very strong person, with all that you are going trough and still doing things you like to do, not letting this break you down. Thank you so much, hope you feel better soon.

Yes I have to keep water by my bed. I also gag sometimes for no real reason. I have to relax and realize it will be okay. You are not crazy. I still have Doctors and people say I am over reacting to my body. I would have them live in my body for a day.

Yes, that is what I did, and that helped. So Alex you are experiencing simular feeling, it is "good" in a weird way to know that somebody reginizes this also, meens that I am not crazy! Not so much, anyway :)! Thank you both, hope you are having a good day.

I have to keep water by the bed and drink all night when I am having these problems. Not sure if that helps.

There are some people who experience swallowing problems with their MS.  I sure hope that is not the case for you.  Perhaps they will see your question and share their experiences.
