Hi Comickey,

I too want to welcome you.  You newly diagnosed, or a veteran?  Glad you''ve joined us.

I'm SL, dx'd with MS last year.  Still learning so very much, and still have to participate in the Narcoms registry.  Great newsletters they have huh?

Glad you've popped in.  You'll find we are quite the crew!

I don't get the itchy eyes, but do get pain in the eye from time to time.  I still am not sure what is allergy and what is related to MS.  Hope someone will chime in, but like Santana says, meds may cause this too. .

be well,
SL

Welcome to the forum. I have had a lot of surface eye problems since my attack two years ago. The itching could be from a lot of different eye conditions and only an eye doctor can really tell you what is causing it. Have you seen an eye doctor?

Are you DX with MS or something else? And if you don't mind my asking what anti-depressant are you taking. I am asking this because I was switched to Paroxetine( generic Paxil ) six weeks prior to this attack that has had a lot of eye and visual symptoms, but I still don't know if it is related to what happened.

Some anti-depressants, as well as other medications can have eye and vision side effects! If  you could tell us some more of your history, test, blood work, MRI ect then I know there will be a lot of people who will try to help you! Stick around here with us and you will see what a great place this is to come for support!
