FUNNY that you should ask! No lesions but what the person reading the MRI had in their report this doctor could not see but he did find something else. Makes one feel really comfortable with trusting those who are to know more than us MEDICALLY!
YEP - no more pitching balls or babies for that matter :(
I love hearing "good doctor" stories! Thanks for sharing; if my left shoulder keeps giving me fits, I may come and visit him!
I've had surgery on each shoulder; I have hooked acromions that were digging into my rotator cuff. Luckily no real damage to the rotator cuffs, but my right shoulder had a big bone spur and AC joint arthritis, so I had to have those shaved, too.
Best of luck with your surgery and physical therapy. I found that my second surgery recovery was easier because I used one of those GameReady shoulder thingys; you put ice in a container, and the ice water from it runs through a compression wrap around your shoulder; it was so much easier than trying to ice my shoulder!
I'm still not sure if I like the good news/bad news posts because they usually leave me with such mixed feelings - in this case though, the bad news definitely outweighs the good. I'm sorry to hear you need surgery.
Kathy-Thanks for the information on the GameReady shoulder ice thingy! That sounds like it will do the trick.
Lulu - Thanks! It was really good to find a doc that took the time to find out what was wrong so I am very excited about that. Thanks for the post ladies. I will keep you posted on how it goes - just scheduled it for Nov 14th.

I just googled GameReady; you can go to gameready.com to check out what they look like. Your doctor probably works with a medical supply company that rents the units and sleeves. My insurance didn't cover it all, but I only had to pay like $10 a day, and it was really worth it.
Those can be trouble!
Not to mention the French Foreign Lesions!
I am sorry that you are going to have to have shoulder surgery! I'm guessing that you will be out to the pitching rotation for a while!
God bless, and I shall be praying for you!

Hopefully your insurance will cover it!
