Fatigue and stress?

Does anyone else seem to have increased muscle spasms with decreases sleep and stress? I've been working very odd and lat hours as well as juggling home and my mothers health problems lately. With this my neck and lower back and hips are giving me hell.

I'm not a floor nurse per say. I'm an MDS Coordinator but I help out on the floor too.  My hours are so broken because of the appointments  an my mother being so ill  ;I'm her main caregiver when she's home)  right now it's hour drives one way to her hospital or appts. I'm glad they finally caught your Cancer before it was too late!

I am sorry it is such a slow process. But then again it took me six years to be diagnosed with Cancer. I made the mistake of waiting until I was diagnosed with MS to start addressing symptoms. I suffered needlessly for years. I have muscle spasms all the time. In my neck, back, arms, and legs. Especially if I stand too much. Many people with MS are on Baclofen. I take Zanflex because Bacfolfen does not work for me. I also stretch a lot. You have a lot on your plate. I used to work the mid night shift and it was hard on me as well.

No I don't have muscle relaxers at this point. I'm still in the test and not knowing why stage.  I've  just been noticing the increase is spasms with all the stressors lately.  With no answers yet, it honestly makes a person question  their mind a bit. I'm a nurse and have seen much over the years so I guess inside I feel like there should be some quicker answers but I'm finding out there just isn't.  Thank you for the information.

Yes stress and lack of sleep can cause problems. Do you have muscle relaxers? I can't live with out mine. I take them when I go to bed.

I don't have MS, and working midnight shifts screwed me up royally (13 years later, I still have severe sleep issues from it).
So, when I did actually work night shift...Exhaustion, screwed up metabolites, got sick and injured more easily.
