That is a beautiful picture. I'm glad you're able to have that joy in your life.

It is a lovely picture, he looks like a nice kind horse too. My neuro encourages me to ride and our local riding school has riding classes for the MS group and many of them take part, even if it is just at a walk.
It is nice just to get out and do something different, even able bodied people would be feeling very sore if they have not ridden for a while as you use different muscles.
I live for my riding and there has been times that I just can't ride but then I brush them and just spend some time out with them in a different way.
Ohh and the mounting blocks, I have managed to fall off and over before I have got on my horse so many times it is just hilarious.
Glad you got to have a ride.
Cheers,
Udkas.
This is awesome, just goes to show you don't always have to give up what you truely love because of this disease. Thank you so much for sharing

Wow! Go Alex! And a lovely horse, too. Have Fun!!
Love that photo! Your mount reminds me of my first horse, "Queenie." Recognize the boots and cap. I rode English style too! Congrats on not allowing MS to limit your fun!! Now if I could just convince my local stable owner that I am not a liability . . . . Sigh.

Now if you could only capture the 'horse smell' and put it in a bottle----you would be a millionaire

Hi Alex
As I have said before..you are a great inspiration to us all. I also could not help noticing the enormous smile on the horse's face. They are amazing animals and have such insight into humans and an ability to really understand (bit like dogs in some respects).
Love Sarah x
Look at that smile on your face. No matter how hard it was to mount and dismount, once you got up there your face told it all. I hope there wasn't pain behind that smile. I love your riding gear too. Great boots. Keep doing what you are doing. It's making a difference.

Thanks JJ I live for my day out at the barn. I have to confess I did not look so brilliant when I went to get on and my strength failed and I fell back off knocking the sturdy mounting block over.
Simply brilliant!!! Do you mind me saying (but) 'You look fantastic' sorry I couldn't resist lol. You do look like your having a great time, and i'm so pleased you found something else you love doing.
Cheers......JJ
