Just wanted to wish my Canadian cohorts on the forum a Happy Canada Day! We are at 68 degrees right now and it isn't supposed to get too hot today...going to a Canada Day bbq and then hopefully to the huge fireworks display they have right in our neighborhood!
Happy Canada Day!!! I'm coming in here towards the end of the day but our neighbors are just starting the fireworks so I'm not too late yet!! Hope it was a great day for all.
Hope everyone had a Happy Canada Day? We went to a friend's down the street for a bbq and we finally got out our Boce' game and everyone seemed to enjoy it! Good time had by all, home by 10:00, didn't bother with going to see the fireworks this year cause the crowds are insane and it would have taken us hours to get home only a couple of miles...not worth it for me. All in all a good day...back to the same old again today
Happy belated Canada Day! Ours was very low key. We spent the morning watching DVD's of the Flintstones and the Pink Panther (yes, I am 40, my spouse is 38, and No, there are no kids here) and the afternoon was spent cooking.
As I laid in bed trying to fall asleep, I heard the town fireworks going off at midnight, and thought about how much times have changed! Five years ago we would have been down there with our blanket and Coors Light, enjoying the show. I'm feeling like an old lady lately!
It was a nice day though, and good to have my husband home all day.
