Hi and welcome! I also have the opposite low hemoglobin. Last year I even had to have blood transfusions. I noticed that you are new so I don't know where you live or much history.
If you live somewhere with high altitude it can cause it. Dehydration can cause it to be high also and so can smoking. I don't know if any of those apply to you so I will advise the same as terry and go for the search engines or ask your doctor.

I have the opposite...low hgb count. Hemoglobin is part of the red blood cell. It's job is to carry oxygen to the bodies organs.
You can google high hgb and find lots of info.
