HE"S HOME!!!

tHANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR LOVE & PRAYERS AND WONDERFUL ENCOURAGING WORDS. i DID ALL OF YOUR SUGGESTIONS,  And at 4:30 this afternoon the police picked him up at his girlfriends' house. Yes, the one who "didn't" know where he was! I talked to him at 9:00 pm tonight. Right now he is at his Dad's house, and says everything is all right. I am picking him up in the morning for breakfast, and hope to get some type of feeling as to what is going on in his head...right after I strangle him! LOL What a relief. Fortunately there is no school here this week as it is a big Rodeo event that the whole town shuts down for, so he hasn't missed any school. I spoke with his girl's father this eve, 3 hrs before I sopke to David, and when he saw him he was going to encourage him to call me if he couldn't call his Dad. Again, so much love is so wonderful. You are all the greatest. Now if I can get the chest pains to quit and the blood pressure down!

I am so happy he is home.  The Lord is truely wonderful.  Please be careful on your approach with him.  Hug him and love him, because that's what he needs right now.  

I don't know what makes our children go bonkers.  I think at one time or other they all do it, but not all of them go to this extreme.   He is probably trying to reach out for help and thinka this is the only way.  Try to be his friend but still be a strong parent.

Good evening, how are your knees doing? Not too painful I hope. Is your surgery this week? Heal quickly! (No not Quixly, LOL) David is here this evening. Very hard to talk to 17 year old boy, but digging away. We had a very nice evening, watching two DVD's of the Sporanos. We are up to season 6 now. Had never seen it before, so it's great.His Dad has said he can't go to his girlfriends' house, which is understandable, but the can still see each other at school. Hopefully as he re-gains trust etc. they can work that out. Since he doesn't live with me, I can't interfere on that level. I told him to just give it some time. He's a senior this year, and plans on leaving for college next fall, so pray God he can just hold out till next spring. I think I mentioned his Dad is a corrections Captain at a prison, very controlling. He sees so much of the bad side of life, he just wants to protect his son.I think it was more problems with his step-mom.........no I'm not going there! Thank you all again for the prayers, they mean so much. At least my blood pressure is down some, fibro still in flare, but this too shall pass. God Bless you all

Sounds like you and David are getting along great and i am so happy you are starting to feel better.
It is tough not to interfere too much while David lives with his Dad & step-mom... i think you are handling it just great... take care and remember God is looking out for both of you.
