HOW LONG DOES A RELAPSE LAST?

by skarey, Apr 07, 2009 10:32AM
I was just curious how long a relapse typically lasts?  I have not been dx'd yet, but was curious.  My first "flare" about 2 years ago lasted almost 6 months before is went away.  This time around I've had in already 1 month and it is still going.  I went 1.5 years with no sx.
  thanks.

There really is no answer to your question. My relapses last a long time too. One was 5 months. Then it's also possible to have an incomplete remission, meaning that some symptoms could be permanent. It's one of those things we just have to live through, and then hindsight will tell us what went on.
