Has Anyone Heard from Quix?

If so, how is she doing?  

I miss her a lot and hopeful that all is going well and the renovations are almost done.

I have been watching for her too and have noticed her not checking in, so I am with the rest of you and am getting a bit more concerned.

I spoke with Doc Q and I told her how much she was missed!.  It sounds like the remodel progress is going very well, but takes all her time!  

She'd like to be able to get on the forum by the end of the week, and said that she MISSES YOU ALL!

Glad to hear that you're doing fine and it's just the business of the remodel keeping you away!  (We're contemplating some remodeling and it scares me that everyone who does it seems to say it's a full time job, but my husband and I both have full time jobs, and then some, and three little kids!!)

She sent me an email today - she's hearing all the *where's Quix* cries and says the project is almost completed.  She hopes to be back here full time by the weekend or so....   I'm sure we will get lots of details when she returns.

Hi, Everyone!  It touches my heart to see that I am missed.  Thank you so much!  The forum has really been hopping with so many people I have yet to meet!  Wow!  You all have really kept the support and information flowing!

I am not going to be able to catch up completely on what I have missed, so instead of trying I'll just jump in and try to swim with the flow.  I have to send out a special thank you and KUDOS to Lulu for her efforts when the rest of us CLs have been out of commission.  I see that you have been a real force here not only for newbies but for everyone!  

Also, I see some veterans have received a diagnosis.  I know about Wobbly (it's about time!) but I will have the old roll call threads brought up so we can catch up.

The buildout of our basement is nearing it's end and the elevator is almost finished.  We hope to have my parents here in about a week.  The basement is beautiful.  Much nicer than the original house.  I can't wait to move into my own room with its new fire place, and my TV and desk/computer.  Everything in one place and some privacy.  I have slept in the living room in my recliner for the last 3+ years.

The glass mosaic tile project in the bathroom went well.  It is quite an eye-catcher.  Not very sophisticated, but a joyous explosion of color.  Like Vern Yip says on HGTV Design Star, "It looks like a rainbow threw up in there."

It was good for me to be away from thinking about MS every day.  But now it feels like I have forgotten everything.  So bear with me as I try to get back with the swing of the forum.  I hope I can remember all the good stuff.

I have to tell you this story.  I was in the grocery store and plodding along.  Apparently I was going too slow, and some kid told me to speed it up.  I was feeling cranky and turned around and snapped, "Okay. Next time I get MS, I'll ask for the fast kind."  He looked like he wanted to melt into the floor.

So, I'm back and Lulu can get some rest.  I'll also try to answer some of the many messages I have received.
