Health pages on "where to get help"

Lori (lbradley35) and I have been talking about the usefulness of health pages on the resources that are available to help people with various financial, work-related, and other difficulties. Lori wants to make some health pages on these topics that we can all refer to. Because of her work, Lori knows a lot about these kinds of resources (at least in the U.S.) and is very generous in sharing her knowledge. She is already working on SSI and Social Security disability.

Anyway, we were just wondering what topics people are particularly interested in. Could you choose your first choice in the poll (since medhelp doesn't seem to have any kind of multi-choice or ranking features for their polls)?

If you choose "other," please list the topic you want to know about in the comments. Also, please put any particular aspects of these topics that you're interested in or other suggestions in the comments.

Thanks!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!  This will be great.  I have so many questions about this and I can't seem to get any straight answers.

I'm like Quix, all topics concerning disability are very important.

Thanks again!!

Hi girls,
What a great list of topics. Q is right as always about keeping these pages small and to each individual point.  Personally I voted for the first one - adaptive technology.   I currently live in a 2 story + basement home that in no way could be adapted for someone with limited physical abilities.  If my condition continues to deteriorate, we will need to look for another home and it would be great to know what factors we should consider.

Thanks so much for all of your hard work.

I am thrilled you are willing to do this!  Personally I want HPs on all of this.  They are better if they are broken up into the smaller topics this way;

So my vote is YES!

All of the questions have come up multiple times.  Currently I am exploring hand brakes for my car.  I am on SSD.  I have already dealt with employment and disability and a lsippery slope that is!!  I divorced my relationship problem - that's a different issue.

So, bless your ever-lovin' faces and hands for doing this!!
