My BP is good...122/80 yesterday and 119/74 today so it seems to be doing alright albeit a little high for me...usually my bp is lower than what others consider normal but it is normal for me. I am glad that you got all that straightened out my dear...this stuff is a little scarier to me than the problems MS causes...I can only hope it is nothing serious! I have enough on my plate with the MS, Asthma and Chronic Bronchitis!
Rena
How is your blood pressure? I ask this because my heart rate was doing the same thing when my BP was too low due to my doctor writing my BP med Rx wrong. My rate was going between 42 and 125. Once the RX was fixed my heart rate has settled out at 65 resting and with exercise (though limited exercise) only goes up to 98.

Hi to all of you! Well first of all I am sorry that I haven't been around...it'snot that the puppy has taken your place it's that I don't want to have to send medhelp a bill for carpet cleaning because I was spending so much time on line that Tippy spent too much time piddling on my carpet! She is doing really well though and I am happy to report that her and Kayleigh are figuring it out and actually getting along quite well give or take a growl or two! hehe
Well I went to my exercise class today and my heart rate (hr) resting was 84...getting better cause it is slowing gradually due to my working out. Then I walked for 6 minutes and my hr went up to 117! GREAT!!! Then I walked another 6 minutes and it was at 117 when I finished walking...looking good. Then I did some weights and then got on the treatmill. I was walking 2kmh and walked for 27 minutes and they checked my hr and it was 61!!!! I slightly freaked out cause this doesn't make any sense. They checked it with 2 different machines and manually and the same thing. So I went and used the rubber bands and did my routine on them and checked my pulse manually and it was 60!!! I waited about 5 minutes and they checked it again on two machines and it went up to 94!!! I don't know what the heck is going on here and neither do they but I am glad that this is going to be looked into further. I will let you know when I hear about the Holter but I imagine it will be a while...and Lulu...I will only have it for 24 hours...that is all they ever do here so I don't know if it will show anything in that short of time.
I will try to get in more time on here soon but between puppies and Christmas shopping and exercising I am struggling a little. Oh yeah...did I tell you that my gp HAS SENT THE REFERRAL LETTER TO db's NEUROLOGIST? She hasn't gotten a date yet but it's a start I figure! I may finally be getting somewhere but I won't count my chickens before they are hatched!
Lots of Hugs,
Rena
Hey Rena,
have you had a Holter test before? The adhesive on the patches can be irritating to some people - I just thought I should mention that in case you have sensitive skin. If you are wearing it for a lengthy time - like the 30 day test instead of the three day, be sure to ask the cardio nurse how to reposition the pads occassionally.
Keep us posted, Lu
Ya know, I've not been around as much as usual, but enough to notice YOUR absence.
I've noticed too that ever since you got that precious pup, your not around so much. Hmpf! Hmpf! Double-hmpf Ha/HA! Only kidding....
I hope this monitor shows what is going on. Did you have this in the past too? Prior to the new batch of meds?
Thinking of you,
Shell
I hope everything turns out okay. Its good to get checked out just to be sure. My DH's goes down in the 40's; his docs don't seem too concerned - I surely am. I could see if he were a marathoner, lol!
Everybody's right - can't take chances withyour heart - you only have one

Hi Rena,
Has you other dog made up with Tippy yet? I sure hope it has settled down for you.
I am glad to hear they are taking a closer look at your heart - as I keep telling few of you here with these issues, the MS symptoms can be put on hold but the ticker has to function ........... We can't take chances when it comes to protecting our heart. I'll be waiting to hear what you cardio thinks is the problem.......
My heartfelt best to you, Lulu
I ditto what Kathy just said. You and your heart are extremely special to us!!!
Give Miss Tippy a big hug from me and tell her she is a good girl for having no piddles. Wow, you really lucked out there Rena!!!
Miss talking to you and seeing you on the forum.
Keep us informed about what the dr says and wants to do.
Hugs

You take good care of that heart; it's kind of dear to all of us!
I'm glad that Tippy is being such an awesome puppy; no piddle puddles is a very good thing!
I'm very glad to see you.
Bunches of Hugs,
Kathy
