He is also haveing problems with vomiting.. they have put him on steroids and nothing is getting any better they have done a spinal tap with no abnormalities and he and his wife are running out of options... he can not eat or drink he always vomits it up he has been in and out of the hospital 12 times sence the first of march and to 2-3 specalist and no one can help them... please he is a very young man in his mid 20's with a new wife we are all so worried for him..   Oh and I don't know if this is anything to do with the other but this lst summer he was dehydred ALOT he would get heat ex. very easily... Gee whizz how awful.....the only thing that springs to my mind after reading your post is  the bit about his brain being near his spine - maybe they meant a Chiari malformation?

Bar that I have no clue. Just so sorry to hear someone suffering like that. Maybe someone else will have a better idea.

Good luck.
