How did it go, ess?

Hi, ess!

I wanted to give you your own space to tell us how the injection went with the nurse.  How was it?

Hope you're feeling well,

I thought you were now known as the "Enquirer?"  We have so many nicknames for you, it's a wonder you remember your real name.

And ess, my darling lady, I too, would love to know how the injection went.  I have had some injection site lumps come up using the auto-injector, so I went back to self injecting my Copaxone, which now only results in a slight rising of the skin.  Seems to work for me.  Hope the auto-injector is working for you.

Did they suggest you put it on number "6" depth level?  That seems to work better.  But if you are real thin where you are injecting number 4 works just as well.  You've already met me in person, so you know I am not skinny, so if and when I need to use the auto-injector, (like for the back of the arms or rear-end, when my honey isn't around) I use the number "6" setting.

I know that Amyloo is using the auto-injector too and she is on the thin side.  Not sure what setting she has her set on.  Haven't heard from her in a while.  Amyloo, how are you doing girlfriend?

Be well "ess" and I send my love and my prayers.
Hugzzzzzzzzzzz to our "Z" woman, too.

Thanks so much for all your kind words and thoughts. Dear heavens, this is the most supportive place in the world!

I did post a bit about it elsewhere, and thus far there's not much more to say. The nurse told me to use the 6 setting, or possibly 4, though I'm hardly a toothpick myself. I'll see whether I get welts or lumps, at which time I'll be more used to the process and can make adjustments. This drug company falls all over itself in terms of service, no? I expect the nurse to show up every night and tuck me in or something!

Wait till all the phone calls start from Shared Solutions.  Geesshhhh!  I do not need hand holding every week.  They are nice enough on the phone, but really are "duh" when it comes to complaining about the big welts from the auto-injector.  They tell me I am not injecting correctly.  I remind them that welts and injection site reactions are SIDE EFFECTS, stated in their literature.  I even asked one gal if she has read their own material.....

Hope things go well for you.  If you find that the auto-injecor leaves welts under the skin, try what I am doing and see if it helps....The Copaxone IS working... With all the events in my life recently, I should have been in heck of a flair right now, but thankfully I am not...I believe it's the Copaxone doing it's thing, or maybe a special reprieve from God, saying, 'My dear Heather, I am going to give you an MS break for awhile...you have been tested enough recently."  One can only hope...

HUGSSSSSSSSS,
Heather
