How do I access other forums?

I just joined yesterday and now want to post a question on the expert forum, but don't seem to have that option available to me. Can anybody help me with this?

I've been going thru neurological symptoms now since July 2002 and maybe even earlier. While many of my symptoms are suggestive of MS, there are other possibilities. This past year I was dx with Deep Vein Thrombosis and lab tests confirmed I am Factor V Leiden homozygous positive.

Balance/dizziness/vision problems and proprioperception have been my most persistent complaints. I had an MRI done in 10/2007 and was told there were some white spots, but not in the areas of complaint. This past Friday, I got a copy of the radiologist's report and other than demyelinamting process, it also suggested small vessel disease.

So the question is there comorbidity between small vessel disease and positive Factor V Leiden, and could this explain the lesions picked up by the MRI?

While this could explain the lesions in 2007, I do suspect that something more is going on, as I was on blood thinners (Coumadin) from June thru December 2009 and now am on baby aspirin. Even while on these blood thinners, symptoms listed above have continued and gotten worse over the past three months. In addtion, I had three months from July thru September where I had numbness and tingling in the baby finger and ring finger in my righ hand. At first I thought I was due to ulnar nerve damage, but it went away.

If someone could direct me in how to use this website to post on other forums, I would greatly appreciate your assistance.

Thanks!

Hi Audrey
If you click on the word "forums" at the top of this page you will see a list of other forums down the left side of the page and the "ask a doctor" forums on the right.

I don't think there is a doctor answering on the multiple sclerosis one currently but it looks like there is on the neurology/neurosurgery one.

I hope this helps.
