I am so sick

This past week my kids have had the stomach flu.  Vomiting and all that goes with it.  So far 5 out of the 7 of us has been sick.

I thought I was going to get through it without getting sick.  Last night was my injection night so I did the prep and ate very lightly because I was not feeling well to start with.

Took my injection at 10 last night and watched a movie.  The it hit.  As the shot was taking effect the flu kicked in and boy was I sick.  I was on the floor in the bathroom with a blanket, pillow, and bucket.

I seriously thought I was going to end up in the er.  I could not sit up with out almost passing out.  I will NOT take my injection again if I am starting to get sick.

I feel better this evening but have spent the entire day in bed.  Thank goodness my husband was home all day to help.

This has been a horrible year for the flu. We all had the upper respritory stuff at Christmas. We are just getting over the cough from that, there are 7 of us here, and now this stomach stuff hit.

At least the stomach flu is going away faster than the upper respritory flu did.  It has been a rough winter for everyone.

I was told that the stomach flu is going through our school right now.  Spring break is in a week.  Hopefully we will all be better by then.

I can't relate to the injection part, but I can relate to the stomach flu. It hit my daughter Thursday afternoon on the way home from college oreintation. I was hoping I would escape it, but I didn't.

About one in the morning I started with it. It was non stop vomitng for about 12 hours. Luckily, I had some Phenegran left over from my gallbladder attacks.

I hope you get to feeling better soon. And I hope no one else in your household, or mine, gets it.

You poor thing. Many a time, I've been on the bathroom floor with a pillow and a blanket and malarial shivers, thinking I was gonna die. We've been through enough of these now that I just keep telling myself that it will end, it will end. I'm almost not kidding when I say that I dread a stomach virus more than I dread MS. It just makes my anxiety skyrocket when one of my kids starts throwing up. And of course, it always starts with them.

Here's hoping that this one leaves your home SOON.
