I was dx in june 2012 Dr never explained mri

I was dx in june 2012 Dr never explained mri in my terms.
Multiple areas of abnormal increased T2 and flair siganl present in the strip white matter. There is periventricular predominance and demyelimating disease is suspected.  There is mild atrophy of the corpus callosum. On lesions are identified in the posterior fossa. Diffusion weighted sequences appear normal. The ventricles are normal size. No mass or midline shift. The CP angles are clear, the craniocervical junction appears unremarkable.

Impression: Nonspecific white matter signal abnormalities in the cerebral hemispheres. Demylelinating disease is favored over chronic micro ischemia changes.

I have an appointment sched with a new Dr. I should have asked my old one but he never had time for me. I basically in my terms want to know where the lesions are?

Thank you so much.

I'm not sure what we can tell you, being all patients and not that familiar with the brain other than knowing we have lesions!    Has your doctor put you on a DMD yet?  If not, yes, you need to see a new doctor!
