I'm scheduled for the InterStem Implant Test Procedure

Well,  I'm going for it.  It's the only option I have left.  On July 1, I will be having the trial InterStem Implant done.  I will have seven days to see if the InterStem works for me.

I've read alot of information online and am very skeptical.  So much negative information has been posted and I'm just praying that I will be one of the very fortunate individuals who doesn't have any bad effects.  I'll be sure to let you all know how it goes.  If it doesn't work, I'm so tempted to ask the Urologist to just remove my bladder and insert a bag.  

On a side note, I have been battling fatigue for about a month.  My Neuro has doubled my Cymbalta and I'm also taking Complex B vitamin to see if it will help.   My mother's Dr. has also given her 6 months to live.  She has very advanced Emphysema and they just found Lung Cancer.  Between the heat and the stress, it is playing havoc with my MS.  It's better to go ahead and go through the trial period of the InterStem now so that I can be strong enough to help take care of my mom.

Please keep in mind that most people don't write about something if it is good or positive.  We humans are a crazy group and we put a lot of energy and effort into being displeased.

I would like to think the people who are happy with the intersem are off living life and don't have the ime to share their positive experiences.

Your mother's cancer makes me sad- I hope you can spende lotso f quality time with her and build new memories.

msgrigioilcavallo- I don't know about it either but hope it works for you. It is hard to have MS (or any kind of illness) and have all of life's difficulties that get thrown our way. I am so sorry to hear your mom is so sick. It is hard to watch someone we love go through this. My heart goes out to you and my prayers are for your peace through it all.

I don't know anything about the procedure but wish you the best with it.  I hope all goes well and you will have the energy to nurse your mother.

I am so sorry for your pain right now.  It is hard enough to lose a parent but to watch them suffer....My heart hurts for you.
