Thanks for all your sweet supportive caring words.
I found out I was out of canned tomatoes, too. I ate a tuna salad sandwich and felt somewhat better, so I decided I could make the quick trip to the store. Ada, you're right, I probably shouldn't have driven, though I gave it every ounce of my attention. The turning and hills and things whizzing by (at 30 mph) were a bit much, though I kept my head on straight for the mile there and the mile back.
I got my stuff and got home, and now will rest before I go out and harvest some of my basil, thyme, and oregano for the meatballs and sauce. This is a great, healthy recipe made with ground turkey breast and I'll use whole wheat spaghetti. I get so tired, though, I may make the meatballs today and the sauce tomorrow. We'll see.
Isn't it funny how sometimes the thought of chopping onions, bell pepper, celery, parsley and other herbs just seems like too big of a job? I used to cook some amazing stuff; now I have to sneak up on recipes; chop a little of this, then that, then measure the seasonings, etc. I'm learning to adapt!
I'm sitting in front of the air conditioner right now, and it feel mighty fine. It's only 78 degrees here right now, but when that sun is beating on the car, or on the blacktop next to my container garden, it's much more intense.

I Haven't had the dizzy thing for a couple years... what I never understood was that when it got real bad and I was falling Alot they sent me to physical therapy and spent the hour making me move my head in ways in which they knew I would get dizzy... she used to say did that make you dizzy?? good one more time then...
Heat does suck
Do be careful right now. We can't have you falling down and hurting yourself. I've been having problems with dizziness for the past month off and on, so I can relate. It only happens when I'm on my feet walking around. I would maybe water later in the day when it's cooler but congrats on not falling.
You need to be very careful in this heat Sweetie!!! I definately suggest staying home and doing the sauce with canned tomatoes, you can crush them or run them through a puree cycle on a blender, there is no need to drive or walk to the store.
There is nothing more scary then driving when the whole world is spinning, Sweetie, it throws everything off, your depth perception, and if you get nauseated like I do, you never know when lunch will be going, going, gone!!!
Kathy, I am very worried about you. Please let me know how your doing.
Love Ya,
Ada
I made it through the watering without falling, whoooo hooo!
