Insomnia and nosie

I have had the worst insomnia. I don't ever get quiet cause hubby has tv on so loud all the time. Could this be part of the insomnia problem?

I wear earplugs when DH gets to snoring too loudly.  Other than that, insomnia isn't a big problem - it's usually the other way 'round.  I sleep a lot!

I can't tolerate loud noises. I don't know if that is due to neuro problems, but earplugs definately help. Have you ever spoken to your husband about why he needs the tv so loud? Maybe his hearing is impaired. When I sleep I have gotten used to having a small fan on next to my bed.  The sound of the fan drowns out other noises and to me is soothing.
