InterStim Implant Phase 1 was a success

Well, I had Phase 1 of the InterStim Implant.  I still had a bit of urgency but didn't have any leakage for the 5 days.  For me, that was a huge success.

Now, I am scheduled for the permanant placement of the InterStim.  I can't wait for Aug. 5 to get here.

I haven't read on the internet many good things about this but it is my last hope.  I'm just going to trust that it's a good move for me to make.

Due to major fatigue, my Dr. doubled my Cymbalta from one 60mg pill a day to 2 pills a day.  It has helped with that and it has also helped with some of my pain.  I'm so grateful.  

I know I'm not on the board much but I just wanted to give you an update.

thanks for that update.  It is so important to read real patients' experiences rather than the PR stuff from medtronic.  My urogyno is a big fan of this device - I'm just not ready for it, yet.
