Hi My name is Grace and I have a littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys girl 9 yrs of age. She was diagnosed with Hypothyroism about 2 yrs ago however before that she was diagnosed with IBS and IBD.
She suffers from low blood sugar and usually has Nausea and Dizzy Spells.
She has always had problems with her Muscles and Joints being PainfulPainful menstrual periods and heavy. But lately she has been complaining that her LEGS FEEL LIKE JELLO!! It's hard for her to walk and get around and also they hurt if sitting for a long period of time.
My Sister inlaw has LUPUS - my mother in law died of Thyroid Cancer and her Sister has MS.
So, what could this BE??? Her ANA comes back Posstv / but her Rheumatoid FactorsFactor ix complex come back NormalNormal saline flush Even when having a Flair up. ANY ADVICE???
First I want to say how sorry I am that you and your littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys girl are going through this. I know that as a mother myself we'd rather be the ones who are sick, not our children. If her ANA is positive than she definitly has something going on. Is she being seen by a rheumatologist? I have what is called "sero-negative inflammatoryInflammatory bowel disease Ulcerative colitis arhtritis" which is basically rheumatoid without having a positive RF. This can happen in about 20% or so of people with RA. Her hypothyroidism can also affect her muscles and joints. Did the docs say if her hypothyroidism was auto-immune. If so RA, even sero-negative should be considered.
I received my arthritis diagnosis at 17 and the thyroid and IBS much later in life. With your family history you are right to be proactive in looking for a cause.
Is there a major children's hospital in Fl that you could get her an appointment at?

I am afraid I cannot offer any medical advice here, but I did want to say that my heart truly goes out to you. I know what it is like to worry about your child possibly having something like MS. My daughter has been exhibiting strange symptoms for about 3 years now (she's 17) and unfortunately her father (my husband) has MS which makes it a real possibility for her. She had MRIs last year that were clear, but that doesn't mean she's out of the woods.
I am very acquainted with the worry that you must be going through. It is so painful to see your child suffer in any way and I am sure that if you could, you would take this from her and place it upon yourself.
I hope her symptoms are all related to the hypothyroidism - which I think could be a distinct possiblity. I will pray for your daughter (and for peace for you) as soon as I log off.

You and your precious daughter are in our prayers. You are not alone.
