Mental health medication is commonly prescribed by GP's so there's nothing unusual there but lets be honest, you are dealing with anxiety and depression! Depending on your state, you may be entitled to 5 or 6 free bulk billed appointments with a psychologist, ask your doctor or the receptionist if this is available to you, get this started if available or alternatively you can make an appointment with a psychologist your self......
The visual issue you are stating are 'not' something a GP can test you for, it could simply be allergy, dry eye etc. You need basic visual issues checked out by an optomitrist, which should also be bulk billed if your last optomitrist visit was over 2 years ago.

Again very stressed again about whats happening to me.
Been to my GP about my insomnia issues along witj eyes burning amd heavyand he just put me on one of the anto depressant Endep amd mentioned that nothing wrong with my eyes without even looking at them......didnt refer me to phycologist. I do not feel that anxious now all the time but only at night.
I do feel very depressed sometime.
My eyes feel very heavy, mildly painful and vwry dry. They just do not feel right.
In addition areas arround my rt ankle and calf occasionally feel funny.
Still get pins and needles in my feet to just above the ankles.
What could be wrong with my eyes and could it be some sort of neurological issue with my eyes.
Any suggestions and advise shall be really helpfull.
Thanks
Many of the tingling type sensations associated with MS can have alternate causes, like migraine.
Migraine can also cause brain lesions. They tend to be ischemic MRI abnormalities rather than neurological.

How are you feeling. I couldnt help notice how similar your symptoms are to mine. I also had small scattered white matter intensities in my MRI report. My neuro diagnosed it as migraine and high blood pressure. That was 5 months ago. 2 months ago I developed carpal tunnel and started having pins and needle feeling all over at different times. I'm also going thru major life changes
as well. I have an appointment again with my neuro in a couple of weeks. Are you under a lot of stress? I hope you get better very soon.
Thanks JJ
Would like to add that I am getting burning pain in my upper back now since yeaterday and my headaches have increased, sort of non stop but dull. Pin and needles in feet still come and go.
Going to physio tomorrow for my upper back issues.
hope you can provide me with another insight if it all still be related to anxiety/depression. Going to my GP on thurday to get referral to phycologist. Again really stressing
thanks in advance.

Eye Twitching: also known as blepharospasm or myokymia is very common and associated with Stress, Tiredness, Eye strain, Caffeine, Alcohol, Dry eyes, Nutritional imbalances, Allergies
Tingling in both feet when resting/sitting and hands and arms fall sleep straight away if I sleep on either: both are normal responses, the positioning of your body is interrupting blood and nerve circulation.
To be honest with you, there really isn't any you've mentioned that is at all suggestive of a neurological abnormality. From everything your interconnecting, it's even possible that it's something as simple as your actually bed and head support being inappropriate for you..........anxiety if it's causing you insomnia, can be self fulfilling depriving you of sleep and increasing your anxiety, which deprives you of another nights sleep and causes even more anxiety etc
Food for thought...........JJ
PS big picture thinking should also include your mental health, life style and the behavioural choices you make too.
In addition to my above post I would like to add few more things that I feel
-sensation in my back of head are only in scalp and they tend to move up towards top of my head from bac of my neck and sometimes these sensations feel like surges in scalp
-sometimes I get feeling I am bit tipsy while walking, light headed and jelly legs
-face tightness around left eye do give me mild tingling now and then
-hands and arms fall sleep straight away if I sleep on either of them at night
-can't sleep once I wake up due to sensations for a while
-get very scared/worried to go to bed as always think won't be able to sleep and will get these sensations
-scalp feels very tender
As mentioned earlier all test, MRI brain & spine normal as per neuro including her neuro testing physical exam.
Hope I have portrait end complete picture of how I feel and any further suggestions/advise will be highly appreciated.
Thanks and regards

Thansk JJ and I will talk to my GP about this.
Hello and welcome,
You mentioned currently residing in Australia but are of Indian decent, you might consider if your work/study and living situation is currently right for you or if its causing you to be constantly overly stressed. It also might be worth considering if you are getting enough emotional support from your friends, family, school advisor (?) etc at the moment, you may find talking to others will help relieve some what and improve how your feeling......
The symptoms that you've listed are not particularly suggestive of MS, and if your neurological assessment, MRI's etc are all normal, it's very unlikely to be caused by a neurological condition like MS or a structural spinal issue. I would suggest asking your GP for a referral to a psychologist, so you can be assessed for anxiety and depression and if necessary explore treatment options but i'd also recommend asking if this could be migraine, cardio or vascular related and if he/she things any additional tests are needing to help work it out?
Good luck..........JJ
