Is it multiple sclerosis

My husband has had burning/tingling sensation (like needles being stuck) in his skin of his abdomen and going up the middle of his chest for the past at least 5-7 years.  We have no insurance, so needless to say he will not go to the doctor.  He did about 5 years ago see a family practice physician who said it might be MS.  This sensation gets better if he exercises regularly.  It also gets worse when he sits for prolonged periods of time.

Sorry to hear about your husbands complaints.  I have had the same feelings for 7 years now.  Had 2 brain MRI, full spine, tons of bloodwork, everything is normal except for a bulging disk at C-3 that the docs feel is not the cause to these strange feelings.  And yes, while busy its not noticable.  Clothing sometimes aggravates it also.  Docs all say anxiety.  Xanax helps a good bit, but doesn't relieve it completley.  Sorry I can't help, I'm in the same stupid boat!!!
