Itching and MS

I just read another post regarding itching in MS.  I am un dx'd but have experience itching since my first "flare" two years ago.  I get in at the same exact spot each time on my stomach just below my belly button.  It starts as an intense itch.  Once I start scratching it gets welts and spreads.  Before I know it I have tons of welts, bumps, and redness.  It itches SOOOO bad.  It will usually last several days before it goes away.  Then it will recur months later.  But I only get it in this area.  It is so strange cause it has no rhyme or reason.  At first I thought it may be an allergy to the buttons of my pants or belt.  But I don't get it all the time.  I can't figure it out.  Could this be another sx?

I have the rash now.  Should I have my dr look at it?  I thought it was from my pants snap too, however I would think if this was it I'd always have it.  I always wear blue jeans.  The rash just comes and goes as it pleases.  Sometimes I'll go several months without it.   I just find it strange that I've NEVER had this rash until I began having sx in May 07.
