It's a new week - What is up? 12March

Well, it's Monday - Monday. Who's got what going on? I admit, I'm taking the day off today from most things except for a small early battle with my closet. Other than that enjoying the sunshine - no doc appointments. I got an A last week at the dentist - a passing grade at my recent neuro appt., and a couple others.

How you feeling? Anything good to share? Anything you are dreading you need a little support with?

Check-in if and when you can.

Busy week.
Alex, my condolences regarding Dante. He did have his own special charm.
Today, impromptu PT appt. due to continued muscle stiffness after "altered consciousness" event.
Tomorrow: Appt with kidney specialist after 2 hospitalizations with low sodium. Call and schedule EEG.
Wed.: Respiratory appt for new onset asthma.
Thur.: PT
Fri: Schedule mammogram. Call and find rides to my appts. since my circle at church has covered the last 17 without complaint even fighting over who will take me. The only issue is the most important, my Tysabri appt which is an hour away and most don't like to drive that far.

I hope all of you have a peaceful week full of good moments even amongst the sad.

I am going through the process of finding a new neuro.  Current one is OK, but think there is probably someone out there with more MS experience.

I am also having a massage on Thursday - YAY!!

Take care!

I'm working all week in between appts.

We're taking our 3 yr old husky in this morning to her regular opthalmologist check-up.  We think her vision is getting worse.

My partner is going with me to see my neuro this afternoon. I called over the weekend & told them about my increase in symptoms. They returned my call yesterday & wanted me to come in to see her.  I wrote up a list of things - but last time she looked at it for 5 sec, not even reading it and handed it back to me.

Fri is PT and I cancelled the one today.

Still trying to figure out why I've lost about 17lbs unintentionally. All my labs have come back OK, so maybe leaning towards muscle wasting/atrophy like both of my physical therapists suggested. ??? I scheduled an appt with my brother's cardiologist for next Mon and see if she has any suggestions, since my heart keeps racing all the time.

Alex, sorry about the loss of your dog. That's really sad.

Have a good week everyone.

I have an assignment to talk on stage for about five minutes.  I will have a partner up there too, so it shouldn't be too bad.  That's about all for me.

I hope everyone else has a nice week.

I'm going to my annual neuro-ophthalmalogist appointment Wednesday.  I'll bring along my MRIs for show and tell on the aneurysm and ask her if it could be the cause of my sore eye/TN.

Good luck to everyone with this week's tasks.  Be sure to pace yourself and save something for the end of the week.

I'm going to a Gilenya talk tomorrow at lunch and taking the afternoon off work to spend with a forum friend.  Friday I have my followup appt with the sleep doctor at OSU - another 1.5 hour drive and it will be a full day off of work.  I have plans to meet up with another forum friend in Columbus for lunch.  It is great to know so many folks around Ohio to share conversations and often some laughs. I hope all of you have made some special connections here, too.

I'll be watching some basketball this week - both the mens and women's teams from my school are still playing.  The MAdness of March is certainly lots of fun, I always wish every team could win.  These young adults work so hard and are so athletically talented, it's a shame any of them have to lose and go home.

So that's my coming week.

I have my son's sports practice M-W-F this week.

Those same nights I am to force myself to stop by the YMCA on the way home and walk (or get on the elliptical) and do a few strength training moves.

Friday I would really like to have a date with my husband. It has been far too long.

I have my sons Lacrosse game on Saturday.

Sunday is reserved for Yoga and home cleaning...silly but they both are relaxing to me.

On Thursday I an appointment with the neuro to have botulinum injections in my feet and possible calf. I had them just in my toes last time and it work well but I still had cramp in my calf and instep of my foot. But while it lasted it sorted out my toes.

Then Friday I am having a phone call from the continence nurse to see how things are going.

Have a good week all

Yesterday spent my birthday with a friend and all my brothers called.  :)  St Patrick day is a yearly fund raiser crawl to 7 locations. Eat all day and fellowship. I can't do it all any more and last year it put me down for three days. But hey, it's fun.

Starting baclofen instead of flexeril. Hope to hear about PT. Hope they can help. My cane just isn't enough any more.

Wishing great moments for everyone this week.

Well, funny you should ask...I'm on a train with my sister going down to Bakersfield to visit our 83 year old Dad for a couple of days.  He's not a young 83, so we're working on seeing him as much as we can.

Babysitting Thurs., working Fri.  Trying to work around walls of fatigue, but so far, managing OK.

Have a good week, everybody!

I have an appointment with my shrink on Wed. I am hoping that I can enlist his aid in dealing with getting my Lyrica (has not been approved by VA yet), braces for my feet, and maybe getting some muscle relaxers for cramps like I had yesterday.

Oh yeah I also think I'll talk to him about my heat problems. Was just looking at the forecast for the next 10 days here and it will be about 80 every day. I guess there is no spring here again this year..Winter then summer.
