Keeping cool at night.

Do you have the  trouble of getting too hot at night while you are sleeping or night sweats? I do but have discovered something that seems to be making a difference recently.

With the heat this summer I was looking for a solution when I saw these really light blankets at Walmart for around $13. They reminded me of those blankets they put on you when in an ER that never come close to keeping you warm. So anyway I decided to pick up a couple to see if it would help.

They are very thin woven cotton material which allows air flow through them to an extent. I have found since I started using them I have slept better and not once woke up all sweaty. One blanket seems to let too much air through and I tend to get chilled during the night so I use two of them. Even with two of the blankets if I have a fan blowing on me I will still feel the coolness of the air flow through them.

We keep flannel sheets on the bed year 'round.  In summer, when all you have on top of you is a sheet, a flannel feels like just the right weight to me.

Thanks for the plug Dennis.  Are they marketed as a special blanket that keeps you cool at night or are they just so cheap, that's the end result?  lol
