Lots of Neurologists?

I read something someone said about having 3 neurologists and how most didn't seem interested.  Remember, this is just MY opinion.  Years ago after first being diagnosed my FIRST neurologist said," Don't call me if you have any patches of numbness!"  I did have Sec/Prog MS but the last several years I've stayed the same.  And the next 2,3,4
neurologists would see me for 5 minutes and say, "Walk, over there.  Yeah, you're getting worse..."  Then I'd leave.
Then there are neurologists who are very busy in research.  And they want you to try anything on you. Sometimes it even can give you Leukemia. (like Navantron) Once I asked a neurologist whom I really cared for, if HE was depressed because he used to seem so happy.  I really feel a lot of neurologists become insensitive because they see people who've had horrible accidents, or lots of people with much worse diseases than MS.  So I don't mean to be so cynical but I try NOT to go to the doctor.  That's why I've told new ms patients to MOVE as much as they can while they can,
Get on an A,B,C drugs, Stay active, eat healthy, have other interests in life and DON'T let MS run your life.
MS is NOT who you are. You just happen to have the disease.  Thanks for listening.  PS103

Well said.  I heard a preacher with Cereberal Palsy say, "I have Cereberal Palsy but Cereberal Palsy doesn't have me".  That was such an inspirational message that he gave.  Thanks for this reminder!
