MRI Clean - that's it

Hi,

I'm back in Manila.  Am ok.  Work is piled miles high!  Very busy day.

My old house has been renovated quite satisfactorily (just came back from visiting it).  A few punchlist items.  I will put it up for rent or sale immediately.  Hope it moves quickly.  Of course, I do need to start advertising / find an agent.

Got my MRI results.  No changes noted since last MRI.  Approx 5mm adenoma in right side of pituitary (seen as hypointense nodule).  Was less intense after the contrast - they think that was technical.  "A few non-specific punctate foci increased T2 frontal are again seen in the subcortical white matter bilaterally".  At least no obvious
changes.  I'll be passing this new and the last one to the neuro-opthamologist I see for him to inspect, but assume that this is it for now.

Am feeling reasonable.  Most symptoms have calmed down, though they jump up now and then to remind me not to forget them completely.  But nothing really new happening, other than vague non-specific stuff.  If things stay at this level and I can manage my energy levels, then I think there is nothing to worry about.

If it gets worse in the future, well... that's later... I'll worry about it then!  I don't think it's healthy to focus on health issues, when no diagnosis or possibility of one is forthcoming now, or likely in the near future. I think I have reached the end of this road as far as considering or exploring MS! So I am going to go into hiding for now. I am getting on with living as best I can. Wishing you all well. Glad your symptoms have calmed for a few for you - hope they stay that way durnit!

All the best to you w/house renting - (sale would be better) but if not, aaaaah, hope they are clean and respectful!!!!

Oh, and you know you aren't aloud to play hide and seek from us right!!!?????

Hey, Sally!  It's good to hear from you!

Glad to hear there are no changes on the MRI, although it's not altogether 'clean,' it doesn't sound like.  I didn't realize you had punctate lesions.  Do you get migraines?

Anyway...Keep in touch.  Please continue to regale us with stories of your world travels!

I didn't think i get migraines,  but now the Opthoneurologist has diagnosed some of my visual stuff (the occassional wierd episodes) as occular migraines....

So ?????

Yes, back from China and travels and trying to catch up.  Will post my travellogue in my online journal, when I get to writing it.
