MRI Today

And yes I survived and I did not have the same reaction at all as last time lol Although I did have to pee terribly bad when it was over.

So I go to leave and they give me a paper to pick up my CD with my images on... Come home, look at them and I have NO clue what I'm seeing or even looking at. This just makes me more crazy because my Dr. apt isn't for 7 days!!!! I have pictures here and still can't get an idea lol I don't wanna wait until Monday let alone until next Friday :(

But you all did make me feel better last night about getting this one done today and I did just fine. Whew :)

Ok ended up having to have a life by making dinner etc. I was able to upload the rest of them. I'm sure no radiologist but it looks good to me :) Not sure what is up with the "ear" one though lol

Are these on CD?  I don't know how your program works or what kind of mouse you have, but with my MRI images ,I can click on the different sets of images and scroll with my mouse.  In other words, each block (including the one with the ear) scrolls into multi-pictures.  On mine, there are probably around ten more images for each starting picture.

Omg what an idiot I am LOL I didn't realize you could scroll through them with your mouse. I was so confused with all that time in that darn MRI and there were only these few pics. shesh :)

I have to go out with hubby today (he's trying to kill me with my fatigue) but when I get back I'll put the others up :)

Before I make a comment, I want to stress how little I know about MRIs.  I probably know just as much as you do about them.  I have looked at my own MRIs and a few others on the web, that is the extent of my knowledge, so take anything I say very, very lightly with this in mind.  We probably shouldn't get ahead of ourselves, but if you come prepared with questions for your doctor, you may be able to avoid having unanswered questions when you go back home after your appointment.

With that I mind, I may see somethings that could be something you may want to ask about Because I do not know which part of the sequence (not labeled) or really know the parts of the brain very well, I can't point them out what I'm questioning.  I do have questions about some of the images that show the frontal lobe section.  I do know that part of the brain!  I have a lesion in this area and it looks to be a few white areas showing up in the same location.  Also, just about the cerebellum in the back part of the brain, I see something I'd ask the doctor about.  

Have they told you when the report will be ready?  I would also get a copy of this as well.  

I'm happy to hear that you survived!  Before you know it, you will be an old pro at this and falling asleep in the machine!  LOL.  Well, maybe not, but the other ones will probably not cause any anxiety at all.

You know more then me about these things lol This is my first one to actually get the CD/Pics. I sat here yesterday checking out a brain on some website just so I could try and figure out what was what part haha so fascinating, yet at the same time I told hubby this is about the freakiest thing ever eww.

They told me they would be read in 2 to 3 days so I figure by Wed. and my appt. is Fri. Yes, I do want to get a copy of the report, either right from the hospital or at least from my Dr.

I did take an ativan about an hour before I left and I don't know if I had one of my darn memory issues or if I did fall asleep in there because now I don't recall it all. I'd say that upsets me but it doesn't lol I was worried about that darn contrast and my arms already a mess from blood work but the girl who did it, did it in my hand and no IV or butterfly because when they pulled me out there was nothing in my hand.

I will of course let you all know what either the report says or Dr. whichever I'm able to see first. Going to be one LONG week.
