Also make sure your neuro actually looks at the MRIs. This is important. Compare what the neuro and rad. say. Ask questions if they disagree. If you get the rad. report in advance, write down any questions you have and then ask the neuro. Good luck.

The best thing I know how to tell you, is to wait for the radiologists report. This will explain much more than any of us can probably tell you. What we think may be black holes may just be the normal structures of the lobes of the brain. Believe me, when I looked at my own MRI, I thought the total outside edge of my brain was black holes, until a certain wise, retired doctor on this forum, informed me otherwise. And you know what, she was right on. Exactly as the Neuro eventually explained it.
