MRI results are in

Hi all,

Got my mri results, and they are all normal again..........

Which is great but still does not explain all my symptons.

I had the 3T done on my brain and cervical spine, the neuro didn't order the other parts of the spine......

I'm still having symptons and would appreciate any advice on where to go now.......

It was my neuro who told me it looks like ms now, as everything else has been ruled out, and wanted me to have 6 monthly mri's done.....

The mri I just had was almost 2 years after my first couple, they were all clear also.

So to date my first mri was done on a 1.5  in June 2007, then repeat December 2007, then January 2008, and a negative L.P. January 2008 then the mri last Friday..........

I don't know what to think anymore.........

It's frustrating, I know, but your neuro obviously has seen some signs on your exam and heard your symptoms and made a clinical diagnosis without MRI data. I know that you probably were almost hoping for *something* on that MRI after two years, but...I don't think that imaging is nearly as beautifully diagnostic (or even close to it) as some neuros like to think it is.

Can you ask your neuro to take the approach of at least treating your symptoms? Are you on any disease-modifying drugs?
