MRI today

I went for an MRI today and it all went very smoothly. I took an Atavan (like Valium) about an hour before so I was quite relaxed. I've never used one before because they don't freak me out, but after my last exacerbation I figured the noise and stress of it might make me crazy! I almost fell asleep! Results next Friday with my neuro.

I went to lunch with my co-workers to celebrate one's birthday. I was very unstable walking both before and after the MRI. When we sat down to eat, one of the ladies looked at me and mentioned that my eye must be bothering me. I asked if it wasn't tracking well and she said 'yeah'. Well, that was pretty interesting! I was too zoned to ask any coherent questions, so maybe I'll call her tomorrow.

Also, has anyone ever had their voice change in timber or strength. I may just have allergies or something but sometimes my voice is sort of hoarse and if I talk for any length of time it seems to grow fainter especially as the evening progresses. Clearing my throat doesn't really help.

My first attack affected my speech and I spoke slowly, slurring my words and unable to pronouce certain consonants. This isn't at all like that.

I was also asked by my pastor boss if I was a "one" before the attack, then where, on a scale of 10 do I think I am now? I said about a 7. Who knows! I know he is looking for an indication that I ready to come back to work soon. His wife has been subbing for me and she is having surgery in a few weeks.

Anyway, that's my rant for tonight!
