MRI went well

so well i had my MRI which at first was a little scary but after the first set of pics were done i was able to relax. anyway i picked up a copy of my MRI disk and well i can tell off the hop that there are no ovbivous lesions, this i can tell, but what i dont know is that on my sag view in one of the frames there are these 3 bright spots, and also on the T2 flare images there is a series of little white dots all around the center kinda like freckles. i doubt anyone here can tell me what those are without seeing pics but if ya all wanna wager a guess i wouldnt mind maybe i could put the pic up and we could play connect the dots.lol ok that was corney. so im sitting here waiting until next week when i see neuro #2,  so we will see what he has to say,

until then

You can make yourself crazy trying to figure out the MRI's - I know, because I do that too.  In fact I have an appt. Monday with my neuro specifically to look at my films and have him point out to me what he sees.

If you want to see what MS, and a few other brain lesion diseases look like, check out this site we have posted on the HP about WWW resources -

This site in the Netherlands explains in words with accompanying pictures many of the MS mimics as well. Thanks to Jensequitir for finding this site

I'm glad you don't have more than a week to wait to discuss this with your doctor.    You may end up connecting the dots and drawing bunnies or puppies on your brain! :-)

my best,
Lulu

i see my neuro one week from today, though i just think that its going to be fine which will be good but on the other hand oh my i dont want to even think about the other hand i really dislike not knowing what is going on with my body, i can usually figure things out before they do so this is driving me nuts, i didnt know i could ask for the report i think that i may just do that. its kinda hard, today at work one of my coworkers watched me lose my balance (and not the one i wanted to see this happen) but anyway all she could say was what the hell's a matter with you, i causually replied well its just one of the things that happens with my body not many see, oh well thats life. i guess its people like that who make it hard to deal with being in limboland

sorry just thinking too much thanks for your advice and response

did you have obvious lesions oh and someone said that the little dots and bright spots were blood and or bones, but that doesnt make much sense to me, i didnt know you had a bone in the middle of your brain

thanks

Hi Ambro,

Did you pick up your radiologist report too?  This will give you their interpretation of your MRI.  If you don't have this report, call the hospital where your MRI was done and ask if you can pick up the report of your MRI.

When are you suppose to see your neuro?  He will want to look at the MRI, too, and make his own decision about what he sees.

Don't worry too much, I tried to look at my films, but just really didn't know what I was looking at....hahaha

Take care,
doni
