It is.  I just had another one on Thursday I was in the machine for 45 mins as they did a spinal check as well, I just felt fuzzy and had blurred vision when I came out.  Did you have any metal on you or nail varnish??  Maybe it was just the case of lying still for such a long time and it was pressing on your nerve endings??

Hi and thanks for your replies,I asked the Lab tech after the MRI and she said"ya it happens to some people"unfortunately I felt to out of it to question her further,I did not have any metal or nail polish on,BUT someone did suggest teeth fillings?! I have a few but not enough that I would think would get that kind of reaction, just hoping the next one goes better, thanks for your replies!!!

To: YEP!
That happened to me with an upright MRI. I, who knows why, put the tips of my thumbs together and they were burning.
