MS Expo, Jul 22 in Louisville, KY - Anyone going?

Is anyone planning on going to the MS Expo this summer?  I read the program and thought it was worth attending and decided to book my hotel and flight this afternoon.  It would be great if we can get some of our group together and meet up.   I know a couple people going so far.

I looked up on the website, thanks Julie.  Sounds like a great day would be had.  

It is about 5 1/2 hour drive for me, I might see if Mary would want to ride with me.  I have no idea if this will be a possibility for me, seeing it is 3:30 in the A.M. and not going to delve into it at the moment.

It would be awesome if you and Mary could make it Michelle.   We are forming a MH MS posse - LOL.  

I am very excited about learning more about MS and seeing what the vendors have on display.  This will be my first event where there will likely be more than 30 MSers in the same place at the same time.  And just when I thought I know all I need to know about MS, I'm sure I will learn more.  So, that is the reason I have decided to go.  

Lu - I sent you a PM with the hotel info I am staying at.  I carfully picked this place out so hope I made the right choice.  

Hope other's will consider attending as well.  We will have much to learn from it and from each other.

Can't go...:(    Hubby and son will be in Maine then, so I cant leave the others.  Too bad, I know I would have enjoyed it!

I just received a letter from the MS Center regarding the Expo.  If any of you live in the area or are in a reasonable driving distance from Louisville, KY, you should really consider going.  

This is a one day conference with a loaded agenda including 3 key note speakers.  The best part is its FREE!!  There are 2 neurologists preseinting the topics "Emerging MS Therapies", "Why Compliance is Key to Your Success" and "MS and Rehab".  Many of know a lot about MS or as much as we care to know and been to a lot of these talks, but you still learn something new no matter how much you think you already know.  Different doctors have different perspectives and that's what builds on our knowledge.  

Anyway, its worth considering if you haven't already.   I know I am excited about going and especially meeting up with a few others on our forum who are also attending.

I just made my reservation to attend. I am really excited about the program. This will be the first informative meeting that I will be able to go to since my diagnosis. Maybe I will see some of you there!

Same here.  You would htink that in the DC area there would be lots of programs like this for MSers, but heck, you have to be in Dayton or North Carolina to get such a priviledge.  I think we will get a lot out of the discussions since we haven't been to many if any.

I only live 2 hrs south of louisville. My husband is getting back from Afghanistan on the 19th so I don't think he'll let me ditch him so soon!  :)

Never mind me.  Just checked it all out, emails and website.  Yes, the expo is in July, and unfortunately I still cant attend :(

There is a meeting sponsored by the MS society, but it is local and I am going with Mary.
