MS Foundation teleconference recordings available

We had the opportunity to hear great teleconferences this month for MS Awareness month sponsored by the MS Foundation.  But you don't have to take my word on it - you can hear them for yourself.

They have posted audio copies of both of these on their website - and I have discovered even more prior recordings that I didn't know were there.  I'll be going back through their archives and taking a lot of time to listen.

The ones from March are in different spots on their web site.

The first ones were New and Emerging Therapies - done by my MSologiost.  If you want to understand why I love this guy and drive a distance to see him, just listen to his talk..... both nights are there - you can do one or the other and hear the same talk in the beginning, he will have different questions from the audience about half-way through

Go to this page and scroll down toward the bottom and you will see a listing of available audios - select the one titled Emerging Therapies.

The second set of teleconferences was on Strategies to improve walking and balance with Dr. Herbert Karpatkin. They don't yet have both of his talks up but should have the second night posted by the end of this week.  You can access his talk the same way through this link. Scroll down the page and toward the bottom is a list of audios available - his is the first one on the list.

Humor me, everyone,  and listen to the Emerging therapies talk at least if not both of them.  I promise the 30-60 minutes you spend will be well spent.

Day 1 is probably the better of the two sessions.

then let me know what you think.

I just listened to my doctor's day 2 talk again and continue to learn.  If anyone has questions about what is MS, how it works, and therapy choices, I can't stress enough how much information is in this talk.  Just listen to the first 30 minutes at least, but the Q&A also is chock full of bonus material.

I will probably make this talk a standard reference to give to new people who are asking what is MS and what drug should I take - it is that good.

This should be accessible on the web to everyone- even those of you in AU and UK.
