MS SYMPTOMS TESTS
I had a MRI Brain and Cervical Spine tests , and was confirmed that I had NO lessions or no dymylieation , the Brain Scan was done June last year , the Cervical was done just in February , can MS start at any time and be severe neurological symptoms, I have sharp electrical shooting pain all over my entire body , and I mean literally everyhwhere , personal areas as welll , its always triggered by any sense of pressure , touch , I have muscles tight all over my body, my face is extremly painful , just smiling hurts , my hands are extremlly painful , they feel like their swollen all the time , ihave zero inflammation, I had evry test done , I had an ANA test done ... I was put on a medication Clonozepam for a reaction I had from taking Unisom, stopped it C/T , I never had any symptoms like I have now ever before aking that medication , So I am now wondering if can have MS from all the stress.
Thank you hun, unfortunatly I am unable to take anything , any medication has effects on the Brain or Gaba Receptors, as My Family Dr is quite aware of this, I have been advised by a Nerologist that its not recommended for me to take anything and try to handle this as best as possible until I recover from this. The pain is over the top , its the physical pain that causes the anxiety and fears. I never ever had anxiety ever before on my life until I came off that medication I just fear tht through all the stress on my body can cause other medical conditions as its been 2 years + dealing with severe physical pain and the fers it can be permanent and /or cause other illness downn the road . Thank you for reasurrance abt MS .

Hi and welcome to our MS community. It would be highly unusual for a person to have MS and present with sx's "all over my entire body" and much of what you have written in your posts, do not actually sound much like MS at all.
I habbitually look at a new persons profile, to see if they are from my side of the world, and i noticed that you've made a few posts in the Lyme forum. I actually ended up reading through a lot of it and (imho) a couple of things stood out, please keep an open mind i really am trying to be of help!
A few years ago your sx's were attributed to an adverse drug reaction, which your dr is 100% confident is what has caused you all these problems. Someone recently mentioned Lyme to you and you have by your own wording, now become afraid that if tests are negative, you could still have Lyme or if tests are possitive its for them to make money.
In your posts you give a logical explanation of why this may not be likely, naming no tick bite etc etc and then your fears seem to springs forth with your language displaying just how worried you've become. In regard to MS, your dr honestly didn't think your sx are due to MS, both brain and spine MRI's do not indicate you have any lesions but you are still wondering about MS.
I'm thinking it would be quite understandable for anyone to become very worried about their health, if they found themselves in a similar situation to yours. Sometimes though a person can experience exstreme levels of anxiety, their fears running over each other, building etc. If you are possibly finding your fears are never quite satisfied by medical opinion, advice, diagnostic evidence etc etc. because your anxiety has been running too hard and too long. Then i think its very important that you discuss all your conserns with your treating dr, he will surely understand and hopefully be able to relieve how you are feeling.

I am not sure if anyone was able to read my post , I never checked off watch this post .
I never put the two together that it could of been from the Nytol until it was too late. Anyways they put me on Clonozepam from that day forward , they tried steriod creams , antibiotics, they even gave me Hydrocodone , I NEVER took medications in my ENTIRE life other then over the counter sleep aid , anyway I was only on the Opiodate for a short time low dose , but nothing was working, but the weirdest thing was the burning changed as time was gng forward , a stranger kind , so my family Dr here in Canada put me on Gabapentin , took that for 2 weeks and was told to stop them , thats when everything went downhill from there, other then when I was on Clonozepam after a mth I wasnt feeling right inside me , after stopping the gabapentin I started to have burning in my legs , and my body started to shake erractically , Dr then told me to increase dosage of clononzepam , well I found out later I was in tolerance from Clonozepam , there ius a website abt Benzodipines , called ************ forum.org , and another resourful site is Heather Ashton Manual a Dr that discovered the affects of Benzodipines. I am only mentioning this to you so you undertsand why I am in such a confusion of whats happening to me. Anyways I was told to stop Clonozepam Cold turkey , I started then to have extreme over the top anxiety, burning all over my entire body , the list went on and on , as Benzo recovery it also waxes and wanes and it also mimics Lymes, MS , FM etc ...that list goes on and on too. Anyways it can take 2-3 yeras for anyone to recover , it all depends on age, health, how long on the med, dosage, genetics etc.... I was on them for 4 1/2 mths, I am 48 yeras old , excellent health , anyways I am off that drug now 26mths , I had amazing good days compared to now where the symptoms were tolerable , I use to have 2-3 days in a row feeling ok , there were days I felt 90% ok, it was like wow I am getting better, the process is no ryme or reason, feel great one day then feel like you were back to square one. Well then in Novemeber last year I took Childrens benadryal 3 teaspoons and I started to have every symptom in tensfold , I will list my symptoms at the end , then it eased up after 5 days I was back walking dng things , dng lite excercising etc.... We call them windows were you can feel ok again, it wasnt great but I was better then I was five days before that, then I went into our hottub and put my neck and back directly against the jets , no big deal , but for me that was the end of feeling ok again, I started to have diffused spasms all over my body , (I had spasms before after stopping that drug, but nothing like this ) it was on my hands , it was all over , it was extremly painful , then I had more intesne burning so extreme deep deep muscle burning steady 24-7 for almost 2 mmths straight with no break , also I want to mention after taking that benadryal I started to hve severe electrical /sharp sharp stinging all over my entire body , and every since then I use to have I called a sensation of carpet burning , and stinging , that it went to deep deep pavement burning and , sharp stinging electrical like someone is cutting me open with a machette knife through my bones , since the hottub from back in December I have all the same symptoms but more intense and more severe, the symptom s are these....
Feel like BOne pain all over my entire body
muscle stiffness all over
burning/stinging/electrical all over
my face is so tight , it hurts to yawn, when I yawn or cry , laugh, I start to sting everywhere
my fingers feel broken so painful, at different times of the day it doesnt for a few minutes here and there
grasping my fingers I sting, I lie down I feel the nerves are being compressed and makes the burning more painful off and on
I have stinging /burning /electrical all the same time literally all over, not one part of my body dont feel it , all my private parts etc... and the stragest is this whatever and when ever the intesity /symptom my body endures its the exact same in my mouth as is all parts of my body all the same time, I wash my hair or scartch I start to sting and its transmitted throughout me entire body
My neck , shoulders, face, feels like someone is squeezing my muscles and bones , I at times struggle saying certain words cause my vocal cords feels like its being tightened
I am starting to get inner vibrations again , that went for awhile but now back again
I am only now starting to have a low low ringing in my ears off and on
My feet hurt , especially my left foot
I feel like there no muslces in my legs at times
For a long time I couldnt feel texture on my body , but could feel it everywhere else on someone else, or objects etc with no problem
I cant even rub my face I start to sting
I am starting to have anxiety off and on throughout the day , but I am in alot of pain too
I am worried abt the constant bone pain , my fingers /hands, face alot it scares me to death that theres gg to be permanent damage , My fingers went ok for a few days then started all over agin
I get breaks from the stinging/electrical it calms down alot as well as the burning , but not as long as I use to , I use to have 2-3 days in a row , now its a few hrs or a day the most and thats not even often anymore. All I since January I got sevrally worst , I am on that support group for Benzos they say it gets worst before better and everyone is different , but I am now wondering if now I have Lymes , I NEVER EVER IN MY ENTIRE LIFE HAD ANY SYMPTOMS NOT EVEN A LITTLE SYMPTOM OF NERVE PAIN, OR NVER HAD ANXIETY OR ANY HEATH ISSUES EVER IN MY ENTIRE LIFE THAT I AM DEALING WITH NOW SINCE I STOPPED THAT MEDICATION. But I worry if from what I read that we can have Lymes that can be dormant , but why only now if I had it woukld the symptoms start now , I have been in alot of stress over the years in my life and never had any symptoms ever, and I have been seriuosly stressed since I came off that med , so I am not sure if a hottub could trigger Lymes disease, I havent been in the woods, my most I have been was to a doggie prk with our dog , I would think there would be a sign saying caution tick bearing area, but my dog is a yellow lab I would see a tick, my hubby always play with him every day, rubbs his belly , he goes to grommers twice a mth, we have him deshedded , most times I wore a jacket , we give our dog medication to prevent him from mosquitos and ticks , I mentioned to you all my tests I had done throughout the 2 yeras off and all came back perfect , in fact my Vitamin D was low in February and went from 69 to 94 in a few mths from gng in the sun, I would think if my immune system was low I wouldnt beable to obsorb Vit D from the sun ? Anne I am really confused and scared more then I ever was in my entire life. I am afraid to do the test from Igentics , I am afraid that all their tests will come back positive to everyone to make money , I had the test done here at home in Toronto , the IgG/IgM test it came back negative only to find out their test are not good , my Dr said that with the intesity of the symptoms I have it surely would of showed something , I dont know what to believe anymore. Now I am wondering if I have MS , I read that electrical sharp stinging could be a SYmptom for MS ,My Dr said I am probably his healthiest patient other then what I am dealing with , he believes its 100% Benzo related , I asked him do he think its MS, he aid no , do MS symptoms intensify when taking any supplements or like when I took that Benadryal, do MS symptoms get worst throughout a day wax and wane ? do it get worst if excercising or dng anything like lite chores? I have been having this constant Electrical sharp stinging all over especially in my mouth , I even get inside my head , do MS symptoms cause triggering from scratching etc...? Thank you for replying , really appreciate it very much, I am just so scared and confused as to whats what , I was put on a Medication called Clonozepam back in Januray 2009 for Vgainal burning /itching , it started after stopping OTC sleep aid I had taken for years every nite for abt 3-4 years , it was called Nytol/Unisom, anyways I was in and out of ER when I was on vacation in Florida , had every testdone and couldnt figure why I was having the burning there,

While they don't know what causes MS, I've never heard of it being caused by stress. It is possible to have MS, and symptoms, without lesions appearing on MRI's. Early on the symptoms can appear before the lesions are significant enough to show up. Typically though the lesions will appear.
Yes, MS can show up at any time and the neurological symptoms are often severe. Everyone's MS is unique, but more often than no MS symptoms show up on one side or the other rather than both, meaning your left hand will go numb but not the right hand.
What are your doctors telling you? Have you seen an MS specialist?
