MS Symptoms/Anxiety??

About 5 years ago I experienced my first migraine and it was particularly bad at the time,It affected the right side of my head and my right side. After it passed and ever since I have noticed a difference in my right side as if it is duller than my left.It is not painful and if I'm occupying myself and keeping active I do not notice it.I do not any balance problems.Occasionally my right hand will become shaky but so does my left at times and I have never really had a steady hand. The one and only thing which makes the feeling on my right side worse and more pronounced is anxiety!!This is also the one trigger for my migraines.Could this be connected to MS or linked with anxiety/migraines?Please help.23 year old female.

Hi Stace - -

I think that you are only aware of your symtom when you focus in it, i.e. are not distracted by anything,  points away from MS.  MS symptoms tend to be up front :-) As Alex mentioned, I'd start by discussing your concerns with you GP.

It is hard to say whether anxiety causes symptoms or symptoms cause anxiety. Even Doctors have trouble figuring that with each of us.You can have a GP perform a Neurological exam if you are concerned. They can decide if you need to see a Neurologist and what kind. Neurologist's specialize as MS Specialist or Headache Specialists.
