MS Symptoms?

So for the passed 2 years I've been having weird symptoms. I've been to many doctors and they can't figure out what's wrong with me. Last month I seen a doctor and he said it sounds like i have MS. I thought i might have vertigo but i doubt it now.
The symptoms i have are...
- Dizziness
- Fatigued
- Head rush feeling or a "shock" feeling in my head
- Eye floaters
- Eye focusing problem
- Sometimes I feel so weak (one of my arms will get weak)
- Headaches
- Balance problem (unsteady feeling)
- Bladder infections
- Constipation or Diarrhea
- Anxiety
and more!

I have to go for a CT Scan this month.

What are your symptoms?
Does it sound like i have MS?

Hi IB -

If your doctor suggested you may have MS, then you should have been referred to a neurologist, preferably one who specializes in MS. An MS neuro would not order a C-Scan, as they do not provide any diagnostic information for MS.

Have you seen, or been referred to, a neurologist?

You have many symptoms that could be from many conditions. To rule out MS go to your doctor and get an neurological exam. That is reflexes and such. Any doctor can do a neurological exam. If the exam is abnormal then you get a referral to  a neurologist.

- Dizziness  could be many things
- Fatigued   Could be many things
- Head rush feeling or a "shock" feeling in my head could be many things
- Eye floaters  normal aging not MS
- Eye focusing problem probably not MS
- Sometimes I feel so weak (one of my arms will get weak)  ?
- Headaches many things cause headaches
- Balance problem (unsteady feeling) many things
- Bladder infections not necessarily MS
- Constipation or Diarrhea more like IBS
- Anxiety  not necessarily MS.

I am no doctor but it is not pointing to MS in my experience.

CT scans don't show MS.

Thanks for your reply, I haven't been on the internet very much for the passed few days, so I just seen your reply.
My doctor said my symptoms sound like MS and that freaked me out so that's why I googled it..

Hi and welcome

I had a look through your posting history, and i truly believe your mental health situation is very precarious at the moment, it has been building and building for months, please make your mental health your priority!

You acknowledge dealing with health anxiety (medical anxiety) and your more recent fears in mid June of having a brain tumour/brain abscess after googling, has more likely been leading you astray.....

This is the first time you've mentioned MS and you did say your doctor wouldn't give you an MRI because there was nothing physically wrong.......your symptoms have changed a bit but the descriptions you've posted prior, don't actually sound suggestive or consistent with a neurological condition like MS.

I would strongly advice you to seriously consider getting off the net for awhile, if you are unable to stop googling, drawing conclusions, worst case scenario thoughts etc and if your chosen reading material is generating more and more fears, it honestly isn't helping you distract your anxious mind as, it is only feeding your health anxiety even more......think about what's in the best interest of your mental health!

Hugs........JJ
