I have MS but not Celiac disease.

HLA-DQB1*0201 is listed under both Celiac and MS so that is the link I can find between the two conditions.
I don't understand what that means, red star. Can you explain?
Dr. Perlmutter's work has been the subject of negative crtiticism. In the "stud" linked above there were only 3 participants. I'm not sure how any credibility can be attached.

Celiac disease genes:
HLA–DQA*0501-DQB1*0201
Multiple sclerosis genes:
HLA–DRB1*1501– DQB1*0602
HLA–DRB1*0301-DQB1*0201
HLA–DRB1*0405-DQB1*0301
There's a school of thought that if you don't treat either Celiac or non celiac gluten sensitivity then you run the risk of full blown autoimmunity that can manifest itself in any one of a number of autoimmune diseases, including MS, lupus and diabetes etc.
