SORRY FOR CAPS... MY EYES ARE STILL NOT WORKING RIGHT, BUT WHAT DOES LOL. ANYWAYS, I HAVE DONE LOTS OF 'RESEARCH' ABOUT MY MS & MED MJ... IT HELPS A LOT & I'M HOPING MORE STATES ACCEPT THIS MEDICINE AS A LEGAL POSSIBILITY SOON! I'M ALMOST TO THE POINT OF TALKING MY FAM INTO MOVING, IF THERE WERE JUST MORE STATES IN THE RIGHT REGION (SOUTHEAST) THAT WOULD TAKE THE FED GOV REGULATION CHANGES AS AN OKAY FOR THEM TO FOLLOW!!! CO OR CA SEEM TO HAVE THE BEST IDEALS, BUT NOT WHERE WE WANT TO BE... GOODLUCK TO ANYBODY THIS 'MED' WOULD HELP :)
ive tried it and i have ms, it helps alot with the electrical shock feeli ngs! also the anixety, of course, but just a tiny bit does the trick and that way i dont feel messed up and still feel like myself, just makes me want to eat more!
I live in a medical mj state. I have fibro, ptsd, rls, just to name a few of the 10 known. 9 years ago, before mmj I was on bextra 20MG (once a day), vicodine 5/500 (3x), detrol (1x), soma 350 MG (3x), promethazine 25 MG (2x), xanax 1 MG, (just before bed), mirapex 1MG, naproxen 250MG (2x), ibuprofen 800MG (3x). needles to say I don't remember much, but I do remember I was still in intesnse pain and felt worse.
mmj was added about 7 1/2 to 8 years ago, I only take 1 pill now, just the xanax. the pain is under control, muscle spasms are almost unheard of, the fibro for the most part is in its own chains it once shackled me in. even most of the weird sx I've been having go away.
mj can be smoked, vamped, cook with, made in to butter or tea, textures, glycerine etc. for MS you would want to include strains that were not so high in THC but higher in the other CBDs like Strawberry Cough, Medicine Man, Trainwreck, Purple Urkle and Sweet Pink Grapefruit.
I don't have MS. I have fibro, herniated disc's in cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine, degenerative disc disease. The DDD causes very painful neuropathy in my legs at times, so that I have trouble grocery shopping. I have very painful ribcage and muscle spasms from the fibro. A year ago, I visited my daughter in Fl. It was a 10 hr flight. The next morning, my daughter told me that when she saw me asleep (they are building a house, only functional bathroom was in room where I was sleeping) I was all bunched up and looked in pain. The next night, she gave me a "smoke" And unlike Bill Clinton, I did inhale, LOL. When I got up the next morning (3 hr time difference, she was up a lot earlier than me) she said I looked much more relaxed, and my face was peaceful, not in pain. So for the week I was there, I "smoked" approx one cig a night. Sure wish I could have brought some home with me on the plane, LOL. Wouldn't that have made great headlines! 61 yr old grandmother busted for pot on plane! I do live in a state where it is legal with a medical card, and have been seriously considering getting one. There is a bill before our legislature to license state growers and tax the sales. I would get a card in a minute if that happens. I just can't see me frequenting streetcorners or bars to find it illegally. Hope this helps you some.

Thank you for your reply. I was looking it up online today and saw a lot of things linking relief of MS symptoms with Marijuana. There HAS to be more people on here that have tried it or know someone who has. Hopefully we hear more! It's an interesting topic.
Yeah, I know somebody that's tried it! ;-) They say it helps with spasticity - in fact, when they went without for a few weeks, they had a real problem with spasticity. Then they got some more, and it went away.
Good question - Thanks for putting it out there.
I have been told by some MS'ers that I know that they have thought about it. I even researched medical marijuana on the internet but I don't know anyone that has actually tried it.
It is not legal in my state and I am nervous of the stigma of using illegal drugs. Besides that where would one get there hands on it? The funny thing is, if it works it would be a lot less toxic then a lot of the drugs myself and others are taking on a daily basis for muscle jerks, pain, anxiety etc.
I will be curious if anyone "knows someone" lol that has tried it.
Erin :)
